Accessible by passenger car or light truck and a walk of less than 50 m.

Boston bar highway no. 1 china bar tunnel (1961), 7.5 km south of rcmp station in town, 33.4 km north of bridge over yale creek in yale, 4.5 km south of south end of bridge over anderson river, 3.4 km north of hells gate pedestrian overpass, tablet in centre of north face of north concrete portal at northeast corner of tunnel, 5.4 m east of centre line of highway, 95 cm east of inside west face of tunnel, 20 cm above highway level.
